Who I am

Hello, I'm Darling Duran.

The soul of DAR Studio. Founder and creative director of this project. And I discovered that my purpose had always been in my name: DAR.

I am Bolivian, a social communicator, an MSc graduate in Digital Marketing and Analytics, and a migrant. I have lived in Dublin, Ireland, for more than four years.

Bolivian. Communicator. Integrated strategist. Free-spirited traveller. Migrant.

After more than a decade of experience in communication, I completed a postgraduate degree in Digital Marketing and Analytics in Dublin. I embraced artificial intelligence as a tool for transformation and developed my own way of understanding brand communication: a perspective where nothing is overlooked, everything matters, and coherence is the foundation of it all.

I founded DAR Studio to offer brands with soul the integrated service that only large corporations could previously afford.

My truth

From Bolivia to Dublin. From survival to creation.

Four years ago, I moved to Dublin. I left behind my career, my family, my comfort zone and everything familiar. I completely reinvented myself. I worked with my hands while healing deep wounds that had kept me stuck. And I consciously changed my entire mindset.

In that process, I understood something that changed everything: I am the author of my own narrative. I discovered that I could communicate from my real self, my authenticity, my truth. And from that truth, as unique as I am, I could offer who I am in service to those who connect with me.

That personal transformation gave me something no academic qualification can provide: the ability to see and understand another person's soul. I learned that authentic communication begins within. Before helping a brand find its voice, you must know how to listen to your own.

That is how DAR Studio was born, with the conviction that communication is not a department: it is an organisation's nervous system.

"Your truth is what you love even when it does not benefit you. What you would do without being paid. What you defend without applause. What moves you to tears with its beauty."

The revelation

My purpose had always been in my name: DARling

DAR: Give attention. Give love. Give presence. Give service.

It is part of who I am. It is reflected in everything I do, including my profession. I want to connect with those who need who I am, those who resonate with me. To share my essence, my truth. To offer my skills, experience, training and my BEING in service. Because I also offer who I am: my loyalty, commitment, creativity, responsibility… and more.

"If this resonates with you, let's walk part of the path together."

Competitive advantage

My millennial perspective

I belong to the generation that grew up during the transition from analogue to digital. That gave me something no course can teach: a naturally holistic perspective. I understand both worlds. I know a good sign on the door can matter as much as an advertising campaign. A poorly written email can undo what you built on social media. A team's internal communication directly affects what customers perceive outside.

My generation was the last to learn to communicate face to face before learning to do so through a screen. That dual literacy is our competitive advantage. We do not compete with community managers who master this week's algorithm. At DAR Studio, we care for a brand's entire communication ecosystem: every word, every image, every touchpoint, online and offline, internal and external. Nothing escapes our attention.

What I believe

From survival to creation

There is a state in which brands, and the people behind them, operate from desperation: selling at any cost, copying what works for others, posting for the sake of posting, promising the world without being able to deliver. That is survival mode. You can recognise it immediately: there is incoherence everywhere.

There is another state where a brand knows who it is, what it has to give, and offers itself in service. It does not extract attention: it creates value. It does not shout: it connects. It does not copy: it creates from its essence. That is creation mode.

My work is to guide brands from one state to the other.

What I believe

People want to believe in something

We no longer simply seek what is popular. Each of us seeks something to connect with, someone to trust. We are tired of what is staged and false, of half-heartedness. People want the experience before, during and after to make sense.

That is why the communication I create does not seek to sell. It seeks a fair, honest exchange between what a brand has to offer and what a person needs. To offer yourself in service. To receive what you deserve in return, rather than take from someone else.

"When what a brand is, what it says and what it does align with coherence, truth and frequency, a natural force of connection emerges that transcends any marketing technique. We do not shout louder. We vibrate higher."

"It is not about selling. It is about connecting what you have to offer with what another person needs, and offering yourself in service."
